PURPOSIVE SAMPLING

Image
Purposive Sampling  Abstract Purposive sampling is a widely adopted non-probability sampling technique in qualitative and mixed-method educational research. It involves selecting participants who are information-rich and relevant to the purpose of the study. This paper provides an analytical overview of purposive sampling, its characteristics, types, applications, and methodological value in educational research contexts. The discussion includes a conceptual figure illustrating the sampling process and a descriptive table comparing major types of purposive sampling. Through establishing its theoretical and practical significance, the paper argues that purposive sampling enables researchers to obtain deep, contextualised insights that probability methods cannot always offer. The paper concludes by emphasising its appropriateness for studies aiming to explore experiences, meanings, and processes in education. Keywords Purposive sampling, qualitative research, educational rese...

WORDS AGAIN

Image
Hey Everyone, Welcome back to my little corner of the internet.  Its been a while since I last shared my thoughts. I'm excited to be back again and diving into some new ideas and reflections. Well, we are in a busy world with busy schedules. So Today I wanna share a poem about Time, Written by Emily Dickinson TIME Emily Dickinson Time tiptoes past the quiet door A Sparrow on the wing It pauses just to brush the dust From every slumbering Thing It will not wait for pleading hands, Nor bargain with the day A Master of our smallest hopes, It carries them away Yet in its wake, a gentle gleam Falls soft on what has been A lantern for the wandering heart That seeks its own within. Welcome Back!

SONGS OF THE FLOWER

Image
Song of the Flower Gibran’s “Song of the Flower” incorporates several themes that include optimism, life, living in the present, objectivity, spirituality, and, most importantly, nature. This poem is about an innocent flower describing its journey from the beginning to the end. It describes how it lives to the fullest by becoming an integral part of nature, enjoying each moment of its short life. The poet says that the flower is born out of Nature’s kindness. It is made from kind words repeated by Nature. Here, the speaker tries to indicate that the flower’s life is just another verse in nature’s everlasting, eternal song. The flower likens itself to a star that fell from the blue sky onto the green grass. The birth of the flower is described most romantically. It is not the “daughter” of only mother Nature. The season of Winter, along with Spring, Summer, and Autumn, rears the flower with affection and care, like foster mothers. This particular flower’s seed was first sown in the wint...

HOME WITHOUT THE ROOF

Image
HOME WITHOUT THE ROOF You gave me the unsolved puzzles And ask me to find a home in it When I searched for the base All I see was blank You told me that I'm colour blind As I spend six hours fixing the walls No windows in the room No mirrors in the cupboard There is no trace of fire in the kitchen It's been ten hours You shouted at me to solve the roof I was confused to figure out the remaining puzzles As all I see was black Black from base to top When I hold back my tears and asked for your help You were gone invisible Without any imprint of your footsteps How can a man be disloyal You left me unsolved That's why I am still searching To show you the home without the roof Which is cold as your heart Numb as your emotions Unsettled as your thoughts Unfinishe…

STUCK IN THE HAZE

Image
STUCK IN THE HAZE  Hold on  So you answered those  mispronounced questions? Hold your laugh, if not  You gonna lose a teeth  Remember, it's a formal one  But didn't saw that formality  In the dotted shirt or glittering shall  Is that a formal one? Stop asking yourself What about those slang  That you didn't got the strike then! Tagged neck blabbering with heavy heads  For a minute you thought how lucky they where  Until you got a call and sat on the seat And searched up for the polymath End up finding the problem child  Still got a hope in the implementation  Of theories you learnt  on those sleepless nights! One said: no use, other said it's not worth it  They are not even moving  All stuck in the chair, holding their breath  Ready to rott in death  Some cursed the receiver, others are super mad You find it friendly  Maybe you are on the same league  And you comprehend their language...

It's Christmas Without snowflake and snowman Didn't even find Santa The stars are lightened in the darkness Now, with whom I sing the jingle bells!
